Friday Jun 11, 2021
Friday Jun 11, 2021
We chat to Caitlin Kay-Smith found of non for profit organization Hyperemesis Gravidarium Australia about all things HG and why ginger is not the answer. HG is not morning sickness but is often mistaken for it and should be treated seriously as the complications and consequences go well beyond pregnancy. We talk about why HG has taken so long to be recognized, trauma, malnutrition, treatment, support and what life looks like beyond. HG needs our attention so it does not continue to go undiagnosed and women receive the appropriate treatment they deserve.
